The project involves the complete renovation of a 120 m² ground-floor apartment located in the heart of Athens. Its owner aptly described it as the “apartment of surprise.” While the exterior is fully integrated into the vibrant, lively, and colorful urban fabric of the neighborhood, the interior adopts a white, minimalist aesthetic that creates a sense of calm and serenity.

Due to its poor original condition, the primary objective was to give the apartment an entirely new lease on life. The layout was kept simple and functional, with the living and dining areas positioned at the heart of the apartment, while the bedrooms form a distinct and more private zone.

The kitchen maintains a direct relationship with both the internal courtyard and the living area through a large interior window that visually connects the spaces, allowing as much natural light as possible to penetrate the interior.

The generous ceiling heights have been preserved, while the custom-made bookcase, the kitchen with its distinctive sliding glass partition panels, and the warm tones of the wooden flooring combine to create an elegant and refined atmosphere throughout the apartment.
