Mavadda Gastrobar

Mavadda, a new spot to meet, drink and dine, is an all-day café bar restaurant of about 120 sq.m , situated in the central square of Kiato near the port.
 

Its two unique facades along with its narrow and long structure were the starting point of our concept design creating at the same time a challenge; in which manner could the available space, on ground floor, be handled so as to respond to the requirements while maintaining its transparency, therefore fullfilling our primary intention for as much natural light as possible. In addition, the aim was to create a space with variable qualities, sub-areas and aspects, achieving minimum to no repetition at all, thus breaking monotony.
